Its core structure features an inverted conical vessel with a concave top design, and a rotor discharge chamber positioned above the lower surface of the casing. This unique configuration enables the equipment to separate both light and heavy impurities in a single unit—eliminating the need for multiple machines or complex, multi-stage processing sequences—thereby significantly simplifying the rejects-handling workflow. Rejects processed by the light impurity separator are virtually free of paper fragments, with minimal fiber loss, offering papermills substantial savings in raw material costs.

The automatic reject-discharging tank of this FQJ series light impurity separator is equipped with a cutter disc and a rotor, enabling a secondary screening process. The FQJ series light impurity separator features a compact overall design with a small footprint, allowing for flexible installation within the limited space of a pulp mill—eliminating the need to set aside a large, dedicated area for tailings (rejects) handling.
