What are the methods of sizing?
According to the different sizing effect, sizing methods are divided into internal sizing and surface sizing. Surface sizing is to coat paper with a thin layer of adhesive, so that paper has hydrophobic properties. Common rubber materials include starch, animal glue, and synthetic rubber. Surface sizing is mainly used for offset paper, writing paper and packaging paper and cardboard with hydrophobic requirements.
What are the effects of surface sizing on the performance of printed paper?
1. Increasing the water resistance and surface strength of paper can reduce the hair loss in offset printing; 2.Improving the printing suitability.
