Characters of Specialty Paper

Special paper has a widely using range. Specialty Paper mainly used in various fields of national economy, such as medicine, food, military industry, agriculture, building materials, machinery, electronics, etc. Although there are many kinds of special paper, compared with ordinary paper, it has the following characteristics:

1. The fiber raw materials for the production of special paper are complex and diverse, mainly including plant fiber, chemical fiber, inorganic fiber and metal fiber. The fiber morphology generally has the following characteristics: longer length or larger diameter; high or low beating degree. Some of them are also produced by using synthetic fabric.
2. Compared with the conventional paper production process, the special paper production process has the following characteristics:some fibers are not easy to disperse and the slurry easy to hang on the equipment and pipelines; the large amount of chemicals easy to produce bubbles on the paper; some fiber densities have a large gap with plant fibers, so some operational difficulties occur during flow and forming and paper-feeding.
3. Specialty papers generally have some special requirements for paper structure. The paper forming uniformity generally has a high requirement, and some products need different raw materials in the Z-direction structure. Especially when using chemical fiber or inorganic fiber raw materials, some products have higher requirements for sizing; some products also require high temperature press sizing (mainly chemical fiber paper).
